The Town of Rome is accepting applications, letters of interest and resumes to fill four (4) open positions on the newly established Utilities Committee.
About the Committee:
The Utilities Committee is an advisory committee to the Town Board, and provides review and recommendations relating to municipal utilities, including long-term planning for Rome Water Utility, projecting needs of establishing municipal sanitary sewer services, and general issues of safety, function, maintenance needs and policy concerning municipal utility services.
Committee Member requirements:
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Must be a Town of Rome resident.
- 3 members must reside where curbside service for the Water Utility is available.
- 1 member must reside where curbside service for the Water Utility is not available.
If you are interested in applying for this position please submit a citizen committee member application, letter of interest and resume to the Town of Rome Administrator by 12:00 pm on June 30, 2020.
